Bank History

Established - 22/06/1960

Late Dr. Satgonda (Appasaheb) Revronda Patil Saheb (Sa.Re.Patil), former two times MLA of Maharashtra State, was also Chairman of Datta Sahakari Sugar Factory, Shirol and created a strong co-operative movement in Shirol Taluka.

Dr. Sa. Re. Patil was influenced by the thoughts of Sane Guruji, S. M. Joshi, and N. G. Gore. He was a member of "Rashtra Seva Dal" and the founder of our Bank.

The Bank began operations with a capital of ₹14,200 and 21 members in a small rented premises, serving Kolhapur and Sangli districts. Today, the Bank’s capital stands at ₹5.84 Crore, with Deposits of ₹144 Crore and Loans of ₹90 Crore.

Under the guidance of Mr. Ganpatrao S. Patil and Chairman Mr. Mahadev Rajmane, Vice Chairman Mr. Mahindra Baig and CEO Mr. Subhash B. Chougule, the Bank has embraced modern technology, implementing Core Banking since 2009.

Moving forward, the Bank aims to reach ₹500 Crore deposits by 2025 and continue offering services like Rupay ATM, SMS Banking, and Internet Banking.
